White melon

The **white melon** is a vegetable from the **Cucurbitaceae family consumed as a fruit.** This variety of melon develops its fragrance and deliciously sweet taste upon full maturity. A traditional Portuguese variety of oval fruit weighing 2 to 4 kilograms,
with slightly netted white skin and pale green, almost white, flesh. It has a good consistency and a very pleasant mild taste, making it a benchmark in Portugal.
